Fazal Syed
Former Indian Davis Cup player and world-ranked singles and doubles professional, Fazal Syed is the director of Level7 Tennis Academy in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
He competed on the ATP tour, reaching a top 400 singles and top 200 doubles ranking, and represented India in the Davis Cup from 1998 to 2001. In 2005 he coached on the US Open circuit alongside Mahesh Bhupathi and Martin Damm, and was named USTA Middle States Pro of the Year in 2017.
His coaching focuses on balance and flow as the ingredients of good shot making, targeting one key area at a time while keeping a long term vision for each student. There is no “one size fits all” — every player is assessed individually and sessions are built around them.
